Denmark: temporary work agencies hire workers in Poland

Training courses for Poles. Danish temporary work agencies are the first to benefit from this easing. Thus, Adecco, the largest temporary work company in Denmark, created training courses in Poland, in cooperation with the local Adecco Bureau. Forty Poles working in the building sector (painters, masons, electricians...), selected for their professionalism, are currently following a training course entirely paid for by Adecco: "We pay them the hotel for one month, and also their meals. They have six hours of courses per day ", explains Denis Egerup, chief of the construction department  at  Adecco. The program includes : intensive Danish courses, introduction to the culture and the Danish labour market. "Once in Denmark, they continue to take Danish courses, at a rate of two hours per week", specifies Denis Egerup. They will arrive in Denmark in August and forty other Poles will arrive in September. "By the end of the year, 100 to 150 Poles should follow this training course before entering the Danish labour market", estimates Denis Egerup.
