Highlighting the advantages of temporary work, both the 3F union and Dansk Erhverv the Danish Chamber of Commerce (trade, tourism, business services, IT, welfare services and transportation) are joining forces to promote the image of temporary work under the right conditions. The campaign points to advantages in terms of flexibility and business competitiveness and 3F underlines how temporary work can give workers access to stable employment especially youth employment.
One in six Danes will have at one time in their careers got work via a temporary work agency. Even so, temporary workers only comprise about 1% of the labor force, and that in a sector that has been expanding since 2010 (20,000 workers in the first quarter of 2015).
