The UK-headquartered alcoholic beverage giant Diageo announced on 10 October that its 27,000 employees worldwide will have access to the mental health application Unmind, which aims to help individuals improve their health and wellbeing.
Diageo, which owns alcoholic drink brands including Smirnoff, Gordon’s and Guinness, says it has become the first company in the food industry to offer a mental health application to its worldwide workforce. The Unmind app, created by clinical psychologist Dr Nick Taylor, is accessible in various languages on mobile phones, tablets and computers.
