The management of the EADS group and its EWC agreed on a progressive opening of the European employees' representation body to other countries located outside of the European Union. An intention letter, which will be attached to the EWC's constitutive agreement, should be signed on February 21, 2007, during one of EADS EWC's meetings. (Ref. 070113)
After the international framework agreement – which defines EADS NV’s principles and social standards – was signed on June 28, 2005, the signers had agreed on the principle that they would adapt, if necessary, the rules of social dialogue within the group, in order to comprise its activities’ development and globalization. The talks led to the writing of an intention letter which will be attached to the October 23, 2000 agreement, relative to EADS NV’s European work’s council.
