In a joint press release, nine trade unions with representatives within the EWC of the French energy group EDF (158.640 employees, over 105.000 of which in France) launched a petition in favor of a wage increase in the entire group. The EWC, recently renewed, attended a three-day training course in Brussels at the beginning of October. (Ref. 080867)
The union organizations represented within the EWC of the EDF group – CFDT, CFE-CGC, CFTC, CGT, Fnem-FO for France, Ver.di for Germany, Unison for Great Britain, Solidarnosc for Poland, and SOZE for Slovenia – decided to launch a petition in all the companies of the group to demand “the opening of negotiations for a wage increase in the EDF group.” They are calling upon all the employees of the group to sign this petition.
