Estonia : employers can not end an employment relationship for age related reasons anymore

On 8 February 2006 the parlament passed an Act that repeals norms which were considered sharply inconsistent with the principle of equality and the aims of employment policy. (Ref. 06133)

Theses rules allowed employers to terminate the employment contract of an employee if he or she has reached sixty five years old and was entitled to receive full old-age pension or to terminate an employment contract because of the age of an employee.

The purpose of the new Act is to terminate discrimination on grounds of age by enabling older workers to continue to work under satisfactory conditions and to prepare themselves to retire on a voluntary basis, as far as possible.
