EU: Commission to launch a platform to facilitate international recruitment for occupations enduring shortages

Faced with a growing shortage of skilled labour, the EU wants to attract skills from all over the world. To this end, on 15 November the European Commission presented plans for a platform to facilitate the recruitment of non-European talent, which member states will be able to join on a voluntary basis.
