EU: CSRD directive definitively approved

On Wednesday 17 October, MEPs removed the final obstacle to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) coming into force at the beginning of 2024, as they rejected a motion objecting to the standards set by the delegated act relating to the directive, published on 31 July. The motion would have required the European Commission to review the list of social and environmental reporting indicators at a time when companies have already begun to prepare. The rebel MEPs, mainly from the r
