During a hearing organized by the European Parliament(s Commission for Employment and Social Affairs, on February 26, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) presented its position on the consequences of the Court of Justice rulings on the Laval (see our article No. 071034) and Viking (see our article No. 071012) cases. The ETUC asks MEPs to "repair the damages" these two decisions have done to social Europe and to national industrial relations systems. (Ref. 080167)
Hard blow on national industrial relations systems.
