On 27 October the EU Commission adopted its 2016 work program that aims to ‘modernize current legislation’ in the context of both a ‘platform of minimum social rights’ as well as the introduction of ‘social criteria’ in order to strengthen and deepen the European Economic and Monetary union. Not much however was offered in the way of detail as regards content or methods. Planet Labor has tried to find out a little bit more.
