The European Parliament, the Council and the Commission seem to have found an agreement on the draft regulation concerning a new fund aimed at helping workers sacked due to major industrial upheavals. The crisis linked to the announcement of 4000 jobs cuts at Volkswagen's Brussels-Forest site had un effect into current discussions.
