EU: European Parliament adopts amendments for the draft directive on intra-group posting for third-country nationals

Today, April 15, for its last plenary session before the European elections, the European Parliament adopted its first reading report on the proposal for a directive on conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals in the framework of an intra-corporate transfer.  This initiative aims to allow European businesses to draw from their highly skilled workforce pool employed in their group but outside the EU.

To that end, the draft directive presented by the European Commission (see article No. 100571) provides for the introduction of a simpler procedure for the entry and residence of these third-country nationals, who are usually subject to stricter regulations.
