In June, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and BusinessEurope, CEEP (public enterprises) and the UEAPME (small and medium-sized businesses) for employers, want to come up with a frame of action for employment and a joint declaration on the social partners’ involvement in economic governance. On the first issue, the text is done and organization’s managing structures are being consulted. Negotiations are still open for the second. (Ref. 130343)
Youth employment. The issue of youth unemployment was on the social partners work program 2012-2014 (see article No. 120147).
