The conclusions of the last European Council, dated March 20, indicate support from the heads of state and government for the competitiveness-focused initiatives launched by the Commission. They call on the executive to continue the evaluation of European legislation in order to achieve further simplification as well as the objective of a 25% reduction in the administrative burden on companies.
