Ministers, gathered on March 30, made a clear stand against the inclusion on self-employed in the scope of Directive 2002/15 on the organization of the working time of persons performing mobile road transport activities, thus following the European Commission’s proposition. On May 4, the European Parliament will decide whether or not to follow the employment committee which is favorable to this inclusion. Working time is definitely bad luck for the European Union.
