The European Parliament adopted, on July 7, 2010 (625 votes for, 28 against and 37 abstentions) the report presented by socialist MEP Arlene Mc Carthy on the draft directive regarding capital requirements (CRDIII) which supervises the remuneration of bank managers. Validated after its first reading, the text is the fruit of a compromise reached at the end of June with the Council. The 27 Finance Ministers will nevertheless have to permanently adopt the text on Tuesday, July 13th.
