EU: Parliament amends the statute of the European private company to better protect the involvement of workers

ean Parliament adopted, on a first reading, the report of the German MEP Klaus Heiner Lehne (EPP) on the statute of the European private company (SPE). This new status was created to encourage cross-border activities with SMEs. Like its elder sister, the European company, it contains provisions to protect the involvement of employees within the boards of companies to gather within the new structure.
