EU: second phase of consultation with social partners on traineeships launched

On Thursday 28 September, the European Commission launched the second phase of the consultation with social partners to update the framework for traineeships. Almost two million people were paid trainees in 2019 (+25% in six years), due to employer demands or as part of employment access policies.
