On 19 March, MEPs made amendments to plans for the Talent Pool platform, the aim of which is to match vacancies in sectors of the EU with labour shortages with job seekers residing abroad. The amendments are intended to avoid discrimination and increase transparency.

On 19 March, MEPs on the Civil Liberties Committee approved the Talent Pool project, designed to facilitate the recruitment of ‘talent’ from third countries for jobs in sectors with labour shortages. The digital platform that will be created will make it possible to match European job vacancies with jobseekers living abroad.
