On Wednesday, February 05, the European Parliament adopted the draft directive that aims to facilitate access to residence and working permits for seasonal workers from non-European countries, and to define a series of social and economic rights for them.
On November 13, 2013, MEPs and European Ministers reached an agreement (see article No. 7941) on the draft directive aiming to come up with a procedure and joint admission criteria for third-country nationals who come to Europe for a seasonal job and determines minimum social standards for these workers.
