EU: the EMF calls for a concerted approach to the crisis in the car industry

On the occasion of a conference organized by the CARS 21 group (Competitive Automotive Regulatory System for the 21st Century), Peter Scherrer, General Secretary of the European Metalworkers' Federation (EMF), called for stakeholders to do all they could to reduce as much as possible the impact of the crisis and invited the ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers' Association) to enter into European social dialogue.
