EU: the European Trade Union Confederation refuses to bargain for the revision of the EWC Directive

In a letter to Vladimir Spidla, European Commissioner in charge of Employment and Social Affairs, the general secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation, John Monks, announced that he refuses European employers' offer to bargain for the revision of the 1994 Directive on EWCs. (Ref. 080292)
