During the tripartite social summit, on March 13, 2008, European social partners announced the opening of negotiations for a voluntary agreement aiming at facilitating disadvantaged groups' access to the labor market. Discussions on work-life balance continue. As for the revision of the Directive on EWCs, whether or not negotiations will open on this subject will be announced on April 2nd at the latest.
