During the general assembly held on October 23, 2008 in Rome, the European trade union federation UNI Europa Graphical (UNI-EG) adopted a procedure to bargain for transnational agreement, based on the procedure developed by the European Metalworkers' Federation (EMF). (Ref. 080893)
The European trade union UNI EG explains
the adoption of a procedure to negotiate transnational agreement
for the management of restructurings. This procedure is based on that developed
by the EMF because, as Nicola Konstantinou told Planet Labor, “we have unions at the national level which
cover employees both from the graphical industry and the metallurgy sector. Concerned
