EU: whistleblower protection measures come into force in companies with more than 50 employees

The provisions of the European directive on the protection of whistleblowers have now been transposed into the legislation of the 27 EU Member States and apply to all companies with 250 employees or more. Companies with between 50 and 249 employees have had a transitional period that ends on 17 December 2023. From that date, these companies must in turn set up secure alert systems.
