EU: Work Program of the European Social Partners 2009-2010

Employment. In terms of employment, the social partners will present a joint recommendation aimed at contributing to the definition of the Post-Lisbon agenda (i.e. the European political framework to follow the current Lisbon Strategy). Beforehand, because the financial crisis requires the European social partners to come up with an initiative soon, they will present a joint declaration on the crisis and employment measures to be taken in March, during the summit.
