European trade union representatives mobilize to monitor the Bangladesh Accord
European and International trade unions have organized an employee (garments and retail) representative’s workshop on the Bangladesh Accord on Fire & Building Safety. While the implementation of this accord that was signed after the Rana Plaza disaster progresses to a new stage, the trade unions want to ensure that employee representatives in contracting companies put this issue on the agenda during discussions with their management teams.
