France: bill tabled to develop testing for employment discrimination

A group of MPs in the presidential majority have put forward a bill that seeks to make the processes for identifying and remedying employment discrimination more efficient. Tabled by the MPs – led by Marc Ferracci of Emmanuel Macron’s Renaissance party – on 4 July in the National Assembly, the bill aims to systematise the practice of testing. A specific service, placed under the authority of the Prime Minister, would be set up and be tasked with helping people who feel they have been discrimina
