…France: bolstering individual rights to occupational training
This is the second series of employment-related reforms and follows the first that in 2017 addressed the labor law. On 05 March the Labor Minister promised a ‘big bang’ reform as she presented the contours of a reform that aims to streamline and augment State involvement in the system, which is being currently jointly managed. The Labor Minister also intends to strengthen ‘rights’ in line with an agreement signed to this end some days ago by the social partners.
