On 11 December, Crédit Mutuel unveiled its strategic plan up to the year 2027. In terms of technology, the mutual group is opening new data centres in France and intends to promote ethical generative AI. It claims to have "saved" nearly 2,000 jobs thanks to its investments.
At the presentation of the Crédit Mutuel group’s strategic plan from now until 2027, directors Nicolas Théry and Daniel Baal took stock of the firm’s technological ambitions. “The aim by 2027 is to achieve 100% autonomy for prospective customers: in future, they will be able to subscribe to almost all services remotely and process their transactions more easily“.
