On 11 January 2023, the energy and industry services group Equans, which employs almost 27,000 employees in France, signed an agreement with the National Guard, which brings together reservists from the armed forces, the gendarmerie and the police. This partnership means volunteer employees of the Bouygues subsidiary can keep their salaried pay intact for a cumulative period of 10 days (i.e. twice as long as the law allows).
