Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet, the French Minister for Labour and Employment, presented to the Council of Ministers on 23 October a decree raising the minimum wage (Smic) by 2% from 1 November 2024, ahead of the annual increase on 1 January. The minimum wage will rise from €1,766.92 to €1,801.80 gross per month and from €11.65 to €11.88 gross per hour. In Mayotte, it will also be raised by 2%, from €8.80 gross per hour to €8.98 gross.
