The pension reform 2010 finally went through Parliament. Under popular pressure and after a quickened examination (only one reading instead of two in both houses) of over 200 hours, the MPs deeply amended the text initially presented by Minister of Labor Eric Woerth. However, the reform hasn’t completed its legislative process since the opposition decided to turn to the Constitutional Council. The President of the Republic can only promulgate the law after this examination, probably around mid-November.
