Signed on 02 December 2021 by all the group's representative trade unions, Michelin's new telework agreement, which centres on team accountability and team empowerment, promotes a number of flexibility related developments. Sophie Balmary, Director of Social Relations, discusses how the agreement came about, along with the various options for telework organisation, and the change support arrangements that have been put in place.
What new telework options does the agreement put forward?
The 2017 agreement provided for two telework options, namely regular and occasional. The new agreement supplements these with the addition of a tailored telework formula (100% with physical attendance times defined with the manager), that can respond to individual situations and to the need to make certain jobs more attractive, particularly in the areas of digital and information systems.
