On 29 November, TotalEnergies management and the CFE-CGC, CFDT, CGT and CAT trade unions signed a long-awaited jobs and career management agreement (GEPP), with its predecessor having expired on 1 January 2023. The new deal, which came into force on 1 January 2025, reaffirms a number of existing measures and improves end-of-career arrangements for employees aged 55 and over.
The GEPP agreement, signed on 29 November by the social partners of French energy giant TotalEnergies, came into force on 1 January 2025 for an indefinite period and applies to the 14,000 employees of the common social base (18 group companies).
