The 2026-2029 disability agreement, signed on 9 October by the management of TotalEnergies, the CFDT, CFE-CGC, CGT and CAT trade unions, will come into force on 1 January next year. Although the French energy group has exceeded the national 6% employment target for people with disabilities within its common social base since 2022, it now aims to extend this achievement across all its business areas and subsidiaries. …France: TotalEnergies steps up commitment on disability
On 9 October, French energy group TotalEnergies and all representative trade unions signed a new four-year agreement on disability inclusion. Taking effect on 1 January 2026, the deal aims to help the company surpass France’s legal 6% employment target for people with disabilities across its 18 entities covered by the common social framework, representing 14,000 employees.
