According to the trade magazine Automotive News Europe, the American manufacturer General Motors could close three of its nine European production sites within two to five years. (Réf. 06479)

” It would nevertheless be an extreme scenario“, specified Carl-Peter Forster, president of General Motors in Europe. Among the most threatened sites, the factories of Azambuja in Portugal and Ellesmere Port in Great Britain. However, the two German sites of Rüsselsheim and Eisenach, as well as the sites of Gleiwitz in Poland and Zaragossa in Spain should be spared.
