In an interview to the German financial newspaper Handelsblatt (10-07), the president of Opel's work council, (Opel is a European subsidiary company of General Motors) , rejects the idea of an alliance between the American manufacturer and Renault-Nissan, fearing that Opel would be negatively affected.
