On 14 March, the French parcel delivery group GeoPost and the international union federation UNI Global Union, together with the French union members of UNI signed a global agreement on fundamental human rights and freedom of association.
In a press statement published on the UNI website the very same day UNI secretary general Philip Jennings underlined the agreement as being “a landmark agreement” because, “it is the first time that one of the delivery parcel giants has signed an agreement with a global union.”
