After observing that some hierarchical structures were very reluctant to the ‘home office’ system, whereby employees can partly work from home, Bosch’s social partners redefined the company agreement on “mobile work.” The new version, officially in force since February 2014, provides for stricter supervising measures for work performed outside of the company and now limits managers’ right to veto a worker’s request. The agreement also implements the will expressed by the management and central WC to develop and try home office in production, as far as possible.
