In ten years, there will be 37% of employees working for the German car manufacturer will be over 50, as opposed to 14% today. To face this demographic challenge, BMW launched a pilot project in its Dingolfing factory, which simulates the group's age structure in 2017. “We know today what will be our staff’s age structure in ten years. Our employees will be 47 in average as opposed to 40 today.
