The group Celesio AG, one of the two European leaders in pharmaceutical distribution, signed, on June 10, 2008, the "Charter on diversity in German companies" (see link below). With this document, the company, which employs 37.462 people in 14 countries, commits to create a work space free from any prejudice. (Ref. 080570)
So far, more than 200 German companies have signed this Charter, based on the French diversity charter, and adopted for the first time on December 13, 2006, by four large German groups: DaimlerChrysler, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche British Petrol and Deutsche Telekom (see our article No. 061282).
