As far as the world of work is concerned, the day played out as follows. In the morning, the Bundestag introduced the health pass requirement for workplaces; under the so-called 3G policy, workers must show that they are either vaccinated against coronavirus (geimpft), recently recovered from the virus (genesen) or have tested negative (gestest). Those who are unvaccinated must provide a new test result every day. In addition, employers are asked to redeploy remote working as much as possible.
