In Munich on 12 September 2023, Germany’s Federal Minister of Labour Hubertus Heil (SDP) launched the first ‘AI Studios’ project at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering and Organisation’s pioneering new hub. The goal is to prepare employees for the introduction of artificial intelligence within companies.

The opening of this first AI studio marks the start of a broad comprehensive programme designed so that by 2024 employees at around 2,300 companies across all sectors will have been briefed about the possibilities with and limits of AI technology.
