legislative elections, the German metalworkers’ unions, IG-Metall, presented, on July 3, 2009 in Berlin, the results of the largest study a trade union ever carried out among employees in Germany. Over 450,000 employees were surveyed from April to June about their idea of a successful life and their expectations from politicians. The IG-Metall says this study points to the “gap there is between people’s needs and policies implemented.” (Ref. 090700)
