Germany: last meeting of Nokia-Bochum’s EWC to inform employees about the social plan

The Nokia-Bochum factory will officially close on June 30, 2008. However, the 2.300 employees already stopped working since May 16 and attended their last General Assembly on June 6. The works council and the IG-Metall presented the details of the transfer of the 1.600 employees who didn't find a new job to the transfer company (Transfertgesellschaft) which will be their new employer for a year.
