Germany: launches a four-day working week pilot programme

On 21 September 2023, consulting firm Intrapenör and the 4 Day Week Global association will be piloting a project to reduce working hours while maintaining full pay. Roughly fifty companies are expected to take part in the programme.

In light of results from pilot projects carried out in 2022 in the UK, Berlin-based consultancy Intrapenör has partnered with the 4 Day Week Global association in order to pilot a four-day working week project in Germany. The aim is to reduce the working week by 20%, while maintaining 100% pay and performance.
