Review of the papers from May 29th to June 4th 2004. The German press widely goes back over the debate for or against Hartz IV, which opposed yesterday the conservatives to the socio-democrats on the passing of the "Hartz IV – Fortentwicklungsgesetz". This law comes to reinforce controllings, penatlies and the conditions to obtain the Aribeitslosengeld II (ALG II), the new allowance steming from the combining of the social welfare and the long-term unemployment allowance.
