Germany : the apprenticeship jobs’ deficit reaches 50 000

The Federal Government's last figures report a deficit bigger than forecasted in the apprenticeship field. Annette Schavan, Minister of Education , announces a batch of concrete measures to make the creation of new jobs easier and appeals the companies to train more. (Ref. 06594)

In an interview granted to the Berliner Zeitung (12.06) , Annette Schavan, Minister of Education, announces that she will propose very soon a new batch of measures in order to make the access to the professional training easier for the youth : « The aim of this initiative is to convince companies that don’t train ».
