Ongoing negotiations between AGV and Ver.di in preparation for the liberalization of the postal sector. …Germany: the Deutsche Post’s competitors created their own employers’ organization
To avoid the minimum wage from 9 to 10 euros wished by the Deutsche Post, the two contender companies, Pin Group AG and TNT AG created a new employers' organization, entitled "community of interests for the postal sector's new companies." According to the German newspaper "Focus", (September 9), the two companies want to negotiate with the services union Ver.di their own wage agreement and thus thwart the plans of the postal services' employers' organization (AGV).
